With an extensive 24-year background as a facility management practitioner and consultant for a wide array of organizations both public and private, John aligns an organization’s processes, people, and technologies to optimize the impact the built environment has on mission and workplace. He has driven performance improvement by applying industry best practices in organizational strategy and design, procurement and performance-based contracting, budget, analysis and activity-based-cost allocation and control, skill development and training, and technology.

John is actively engaged across the industry through his involvement with the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) where he serves as volunteer, leader, and instructor for FM courses with international students, supporting both IFMA and GMU’s FM certificate program. John holds a degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and has maintained his Certified Facility Manager credential since 2005.
