Aleto’s EDMS team manages the central, secure, web-based system that authorized users to browse/ search and download engineering and architectural drawings of NIH facilities.

Its web-based interface allows users to browse drawings by category on the NIH campus including: building number, floor, room, and discipline. EDMS currently manages more than 300,000 files in its database and houses documents of historical value. These files have also been provided to the National Archives & Records Administration (NARA) to for historical records. The records span over 100 years, with one of the oldest drawings on record from 1911, the Children’s Inn Building.

Additionally, the EDMS team provides drawing search assistance, BIM model review, and drafting support to NIH project officers.
